International Workshop SBMI 2013

SBMI 2013, Systems Biology of Microbial InfectionThe systems biology of microbial infection aims to understand the interaction between hosts and pathogens by the integrative combination of experiment and theory. The focus of this workshop is on the interaction between the immune systems of humans or animals and bacterial or fungal pathogens.

You are cordially invited to attend this workshop that will be held on September 19–20, 2013 at the HKI-Center for Systems Biology of Infection as part of the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology – Hans Knöll Institute, Beutenbergstr. 11a, 07745 Jena, Germany.

The following invited speakers have confirmed their participation:

Yoram Vodovotz (Pittsburgh / USA; keynote speaker), Karl Kuchler (Vienna / Austria), Edda Klipp (Berlin / Germany), Hubertus Haas (Innsbruck / Austria), Matthias Gunzer (Essen / Germany), Michael Bauer (Jena / Germany).
